Floods of pictures is a concept and design for an app that analyses the photos on your smartphone, sorts them into different categories and shows summary statistics that both look aestetic and are informative. As visual inspiration, I was led by the term “floods of pictures” (german: Bilderflut) which outlines the overwhelming mass of pictures surrounding our everyday life.
The statistics enable you to analyse your photographic preferences and may help you to get an overview of your own flood of pictures.
