Inspired by a stone carving, a typeface to embody the ancient Incan culture was created.
The letterforms are designed to look as extensive as possible. The characteristic of each letter is obtained by the positioning of the curls cutting in. A basic system of predefined shapes and widths is used to create a well-balanced typeface.
The fine-drawing of the font was done in Illustrator and the implementation into an OpenType-Font in Glyphs.
